Administration Assistant

About the Role

As an Administration Assistant, reporting to the National Transport Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of our Heavy Haulage operations—bringing strong document control, assist with managing scheduling, and help to ensure equipment is delivered on time and ready for action. You’ll maximise every efficiency opportunity through your day-to-day interactions and keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the document control of end-to-end deliveries including bookings, assisting scheduling, dispatch and returns.
  • Assist with coordinating transport, delivery and collection of machinery and vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records of all equipment — in branch, on route, or in service/repair.
  • Monitor and manage excel spreadsheets, System logs, and related documentation.

About You

You’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being a pivotal team member. You bring:

  • Previous experience in truck or machinery transport operations (Advantageous).
  • Strong multitasking and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — confident, clear and solution-focused.
  • High attention to detail with strong accuracy in documentation
  • Experience with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel etc)
  • A proactive mindset and strong problem-solving ability.
