🚛 HV Leading Hand – Take the Lead at Our Shepparton Workshop!
Are you a hands-on leader with heavy vehicle experience? This is your chance to step up and play a pivotal role at Northeast Shepparton, a dealership with a reputation for quality, service, and expertise.
As our HV Leading Hand, you’ll be the driving force behind workshop productivity, team leadership, and technical excellence. You’ll keep operations running smoothly, mentor and guide our technicians, and ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and workmanship.
At our iconic Shepparton dealership, we represent some of the most respected brands in the industry, including Isuzu Trucks, Iveco Trucks and Sitrak. With sales, parts, servicing, and repairs all under one roof, you’ll be part of a team that prides itself on delivering a true full-service dealership experience.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
- Running productive and efficient shifts.
- Conducting quality control checks before vehicles leave the workshop.
- Offering technical guidance and mentoring to the team.
- Liaising with senior management and ensuring smooth communication.
- Problem solving and thinking critically under pressure.
- Rolling up your sleeves and performing servicing and repairs when needed.
👤 About You:
- Previous experience in a Leading Hand or similar senior workshop role.
- Strong heavy vehicle diagnostic and repair skills (Cert III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology required).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to delegate effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
About you
- Trade qualification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (essential);
- Diagnostic experience
- Driver’s license; HR desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management, organisation and prioritisation skills.
