ICT Manager

About the Role

As ICT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day ICT operations across the business, ensuring our systems, infrastructure and technology services are reliable, secure and supporting our teams effectively.

 

You will work closely with management and key stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, implement new technology and ensure our ICT environment continues to meet the needs of a growing organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day ICT operations across the business
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, systems, networks and cybersecurity
  • Manage ICT projects, upgrades and system implementations
  • Provide guidance and support to internal users and teams
  • Manage relationships with external IT providers and technology vendors
  • Monitor system performance, security and reliability
  • Develop and maintain ICT policies, procedures and security practices
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and efficiency
  • Manage ICT budgets, resources and technology requirements
  • Provide strategic advice to management on technology and future ICT needs

 

About You

We are looking for an experienced ICT professional who is confident leading technology operations and working with people at all levels of an organisation.

 

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in an ICT Manager, IT Manager or similar leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks and systems
  • Experience managing ICT projects and external providers
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity and data protection
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Relevant ICT qualifications or equivalent industry experience
