Panel Beater

We are looking for an experienced Panel Beater with a strong background in chassis and framework who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to continue developing specialist skills in a high performing environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work on heavy trucks using the finest JOSAM straightening equipment, with ongoing technical support and training to further grow your already proven expertise.

What you will do

• Repair damaged chassis frames, panels and suspension components on heavy trucks
  
• Straighten frames to factory specifications using advanced frame machine and JOSAM straightening equipment
  
• Inspect vehicles to assess structural damage and identify chassis and alignment issues
  
• Measure, align and restore vehicle frames to manufacturer and safety standards
  
• Accurately document work completed on job cards and work orders
  
• Maintain cleanliness and care of tools, equipment and work areas
  
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, procedures and protocols
  
• Provide a high standard of workmanship and customer service
  
• Work collaboratively with trades, supervisors and support staff
  

What you will bring

• Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology (Panel Beating) is essential
  
• Experience in chassis straightening or specialist frame repair is highly regarded
  
• Exposure to heavy truck or heavy vehicle repairs preferred
  
• Experience using frame machines and structural repair equipment
  
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
  
• Reliable, safety focused and able to work as part of a team
  
• Current driver’s licence
