Payroll & People and Culture Coordinator


Northeast Auto Group, Burton, is looking for a Payroll & People and Culture Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is organised and detail-focused, and wants to play an important role across payroll and HR.

 

About the Role

This role will provide hands-on support across payroll processing and a range of People & Culture activities, helping ensure our employees are supported and HR processes run smoothly.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with weekly/fortnightly payroll processing and payroll administration
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Support leave, timesheet and employee enquiries
  • Assist with HR administration and people-related action items
  • Support the People & Culture team with day-to-day tasks and projects
  • Ensure payroll and HR processes are completed accurately and on time

 

About You

  • Previous experience in payroll and/or HR administration
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Good understanding of payroll processes and employment records
  • Confident handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, proactive and willing to assist across a range of HR tasks
