About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated, organised, and enthusiastic Service Administrator / Parts Coordinator to join our Port Augusta team. You will be the first point of contact for clients and suppliers, providing exceptional customer service while managing parts orders, inventory, and a variety of administrative tasks to support the service department.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome all visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages when necessary
- Process and manage parts orders, ensuring timely delivery and stock accuracy
- Maintain parts inventory and assist with stock ordering
- Assist technicians and service staff with parts and documentation
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and photocopying
- Support the team with scheduling service appointments and coordinating workflow
- Assist in organising local events and meetings as required
- Complete invoicing and parts billing duties
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the parts and service administration area
About you
- Previous experience in a service administration, parts coordination, or office support role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused demeanour
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
